Warwick University Schools’ Physicist of the Year!

Many congratulations to Henry Lay in Y12 who has won the very prestigious award of Warwick University Schools’ Physicist of the Year, 2015!

This is a PHENOMENAL achievement!

An Accelerated Reading Process

Some c.20 students across Y7-9 are about to undertake an Accelerated Reading Programme.

These students have scored some of the highest results in standardised reading tests and so are already proficient in this skills area. As a comprehensive, though, we have a responsibility to stretch & challenge ALL learners and this programme will hopefully support reading with non-fiction texts especially.

It should be a success and we can then use it as an evidence base to roll it out to  a wider range of students.
