Talented Artist Work

Here are some pictures of the excellent work undertaken by our talented artists in lower school.

Inspired by the event at the Tower of London, these ceramic poppies serve as a reminder of all of those who suffer in conflict and are fittingly found in our Peace Garden…

HIGH FIVE – A Transition Event…

Many of our prospective students currently in Y5 at local primaries have been involved in much transition work put on for all. To supplement this, some 20 students who are currently in Y5 with projected grades at Level 5+ (or their equivalents and hence “HIGH FIVE”) undertook some specific TAG transition work with us.

The aims were:

1. To understand what sort of learning we focus on at NLS – skills based learning linked to Bloom’s and SBS.
2. To feel inspired and aspire to develop a range of skills.
3. To develop effective relationships with other higher attaining peers from their own and other schools.

Feedback was exceptionally positive!
