Some of our students attend the United Nations Association (UNA).
While not directly affiliating NLS with any organisation, we do feel this is an interesting opportunity to hear talks and to be involved in lively, open discussions about “real world” issues.
See the flyer attached and (with appropriate consents, of course) maybe go along…

Next Friday (29th) some 28 students and 3 staff head off to the German capital, Berlin!
This trip is open to all students from a range of year groups because we believe talents, abilities and gifts can be nurtured and developed as well as inherited.
See the links on the left-hand side to develop skills and knowledge in advance of the trip, click on the link below for a sneak preview of the learning booklets and watch this space for pictures that will record all the excellent learning…
NLS Student booklet German Trip
On Fridays, some of our older student leaders in Manor College (those who are also TAG students) meet with younger TAG students and support them to fulfil their potential through Peer Mentoring.
The buzz is a joy to behold and an extension of the principles which sit behind the VT system.
We will look to train up more of the current Y10 as those in Y11 (the majority of our Peer Mentors) move in to that all important exam season.
Well done to all involved.
