HATs Parent Evening

A number of parents/carers of HAT (Higher Attainer) students attended a Parent Evening organized by Mrs Callipo on February 13th.

With Mrs Gould, Mrs Holt, Mr Taylor and Mr Royle offering overviews of a range of services and Mrs Callipo as lead, this was more-than-ably supported by Zeta in Y11 who gave a very insightful talk on a number of things from a student perspective: options, careers, ACD, Work Experience, life as a HAT student at NLS.

Zeta spoke warmly of all the terrific support she receives but also acknowledged the vital importance that parents/carers play in the success of student learning – it’s a real team effort and the team on this evening (parents, staff, students) helped make for a really productive session.

Thanks to all…
